Wowee! It's been a minute since I've had time to sit down and do anything on my BLOG and I am so excited.
This last year, year and half whatever, has been pretty hard on everyone. I did have a lot of silver linings that came from it though. Having time to focus on my business was not one of them. However, now that school is back in session I finally have time to focus on what I want my work life to look like.
When I first started Candice Ashley Beauty 4 years ago I knew that I wanted to do more prodcut reviews and tutorial videos. That's why my business name says "Beauty" and not just "Hair". I wanted to touch on all aspects of beauty: hair, makeup, skin care, self- care, fashion. The problem I kept running into was TIME. There was never enough of it. Then the move downtown, which business wise was not the best decision I've ever made, combined shortly thereafter with COVID really screwed up all my plans.
The good news is that I'm finally back on track and focusing on the things I enjoy, like this blog, and making video content, which brings us to the video below.
I will say I'm no Bailey Sarian but I also know that practice makes better, and you'll never get close to being better if you dont try, and fail, a few times along the way. Could this video be better? Yes. Did I do my best with the knowledge I have? Also, yes.
So, with all that being said, please enjoy this video where I show you a cool eyeshadow hack with a spoon.
In case you were wondering I did buy this gold spoon specifically for this video. $2 at Target well spent.
